Our Signature Cold Brew Blend
Athabasca Glacier is one of the six “toes” of the Columbia Icefield in Jasper national park.
Our Athabasca Glacier blend is designed specifically for cold brew coffee to deliver a smooth, amazing cup that is delicious on its own or with cream and your favourite syrup.
It’s simple to make a delicious cold brew:
Step One: Put 1 oz (2 tbsp) of coffee for every 8 oz of water in a container (at home, we use 2 oz in a 1-pint mason jar). Put coffee in the container, and add a bit of water – stir to ensure there are no dry grounds – then add the remaining water.
Step two: Let coffee rest on the counter for 24 hours.
Step three: Strain coffee through a mesh filter, cheesecloth, or coffee filter.
This will yield coffee concentrate, which can then be mixed with equal parts of water or milk to your own taste.
Coffee concentrate will keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.
